What is "Unified Communications?"

OnlyOne provides "unified communications" services to businesses and individuals who want simplicity, control and privacy in their communications.  OnlyOne was founded on the premise that highly mobile professionals, across the country in all industries, would want to be able to provide a cost effective professional and seamless communications experience for their clients.

The OnlyOne service provides subscribers with one local number that is a gateway for callers to reach them -whether they are at work, or on a cell phone, at home or another office. A caller can also reach a subscriber's voicemail, pager or fax with that same local number.

"Unified Communications" means that all of your communications are in ONE place.  In our case, this means that every e-mail, every fax and every voicemail is in ONE Inbox - your regular e-mail inbox on your computer or via the web from nearly any location.  For several years, many large corporations implemented this technology by investing tens of thousands of dollars into computer hardware and software which was installed at their office.  Employees could utilize this technology through either a local number at that corporate office or through a toll-free number.  There are many limitations to this approach when compared to OnlyOne's model.

OnlyOne has invested in hardware and software which we have customized and networked together through various telecommunications carriers to provide local phone numbers across the country.  Instead of investing in this equipment yourself, individuals and businesses subscribe to our service.  There is no new hardware or software needed for a new subscriber and you don't have to change any of your current phones or phone carriers unless you want to!  They also don't need to keep up with technology because we are already doing that.  OnlyOne needs to stay current with technology in order to continue to appeal to new subscribers.  Our current customers benefit form this as we keep everyone on the same level.

OnlyOne is a privately held company that is building and developing a national network of locally owned and operated service centers that deploy unified communications technology offering full-featured single-number voice, fax, and messaging communication services to individuals and businesses. 

Founded in 2001, OnlyOne is the only service provider of its kind that sells, provisions, and services its customer base through independent local owners offering unlimited usage through local numbers all for a low monthly flat rate fee.
